I still don`t feel well, too tired to go any further, but I can mention that I am an older white woman, a retiree, there was a scene in the queue, I told the people standing in line behind me that I would call the police. When I entered the store, the male salesman approached me on the floor and asked if he could help me. I told him I was looking for bath sponges; He said they didn`t have it, but when I got to the checkout, there was a bunch of sponges in a basket in front of the cash register.

I asked them to scan the prices as some were less than 50% and others were identical at full price; I asked about the director because it seemed like a mission. Then the male assistant who told me that Ackermans had no sponges in stock told me that these round sponges were kitchen sponges and that I had grown. If I had done so, it was involuntary and not to my knowledge; There was a big robbery/delay and the customers behind me complained and intimidated me and said condescending things. Eventually, everything was sorted out and I left. My cash purchase was +- R300. I didn`t keep the receipt/cash invoice, but. after being a victim and being treated as I had been, and the DELIBERATE slowly went to the cash registers (I had to prepare for my Shabbat, the incident happened on a Friday afternoon), I am sad because Ackermans is an old reputable company, I love their stock and quality, but the hatred is over. I then told them to check and they found out that I had insurance again and that I owed them R600. I will not pay this money to Ackermans, I am now certified with your account, I do not need it. How do I pay for something I didn`t join? I was on Ackermans Church Street in Pretoria on August 3rd. I really felt so embarrassed and humiliated after this incident. The moment I left the store after the incident, the alarm did not sound. So please fix your faulty alarm system before you can accuse someone of theft, check the images, if you have seen the person who flew, where you do not need to check the images, train the staff on customer service. With the experience I`ve had, I`m not sure I`ll buy from Ackermans again. So I still use my husband`s catdbto accoint to pay in the same store I`ve been using for about a year. Last Sunday, I bought things after the cashiers` sale said the signatures didn`t match, so I explained that it was my husband`s card etc. Director Sipho comes and says that my husband or I can call the seat and he waves his hands in my face and says what he should do then.

He just walked away. I told him please refund the material and return the card to me, he refused to do so. I had to leave the mall, ask my husband and son to sort out this. It was the darkest and most terrible experience of all time. ACKERMANS WAVERLEY PLAZA – the worst and most rude customer service I have ever received!! At first, most items are priceless, so they had to call other stores to get prices while being told to stay away. Finally, when it came to paying for the items, there was a problem with the card machine where I was told it was my card (and it isn`t), they will never get a good recommendation and they are very rude and unprofessional towards their customers. I would like to file a complaint about an employee named Anna in The Mall @ Reds Akermans (Women Store). Your attitude must change. I shopped in her old store right in front of the store that only recently opened for women, I needed a certain product, she enjoyed it, because she was the only prominent employee at the time, called her twice and walked past me and my sister on the right. When another colleague walked past us trying to get Anna`s attention, she said, and then turned to her colleague and said, “These ladies are calling her” with so much posture, stroked her hair and walked away, It was not necessary if I am a paying customer, regardless of the Akermans store you work for, When I see you in uniform, a question for me should NOT have led to this attitude. A simple answer to let us know that you don`t work at that particular company wouldn`t hurt them.
